lw custom gear sticks

Do you think they’re better than beast sticks? Just curious b/c my impression of the beast stick manufacturing was super positive & those sticks blew me away compared to my other sticks in the past...... just curious sounds like guys are a bit disappointed

No... I think they will pack better on the LWCG stand and there is less flex to them than the beast sticks but I will still be packing my beast sticks in with my saddle.

300 dollar mini sticks that are heavier and shorter than Beast sticks, with single steps, a 50 dollar re sticking fee if you aren't happy. A coating that will absolutely wear off and not do what it's supposed to. Heavier than the old LW sticks. Am I missing anything? I think I should place an order:rolleyes:

If you buy the whole package it will be the best packing most compact setup on the market. If you just plan on using sticks and not a stand the beast sticks are your best option.

Yeah maybe....time will tell on the package being “the best”. I’d have a real problem buying from a company that flat out misrepresented their product, aka lied and then claims no responsibility for their lies. From the get go the products don’t seem to be what the company claims them to be. I’d have some serious doubt on the products’ ability to last.
The beast gear is, from why I can tell a once in a lifetime purchase. Additionally you’re buying from a company and owner that you can count on. I’ve done business with Dan and met him several times. He’s a quality dude. Beast gear for me thanks.

My intentions were a straightforward comparison from someone who owns both. Not to get off in the weeds about taking sides both of these products are proposed/ sold by guys that are self proclaimed detailed whitetail killers. So if I was in that position my gear that I designed, even if only selfishly for my own purposes, would be top notch quality. If your buying this gear your just fine tuning & tinkering w/ a working kit. So I don’t feel the price is relevant in the conversation, but the quality & fit/finish is more important. When you buy something that’s the latest & greatest it should be.....

Ok. But people should still know what kind of company and person they’re dealing with in Andre and lwcg. The OP is asking others’ thoughts on the products. Mission accomplished

I got them both.

Both have their positives and negatives.

There are a lot of empty accusations being tossed around. I could care less. I want the best equipment I could get my hands on. I don’t care about the name on it.FB63329B-F46C-4E28-87D4-297CD0722FF3.jpeg

No contest. The top sticks are way better.

Mark my words.....there will be issues with all the extra moving parts on the LWCG sticks. Sure they will pack better but moving parts will equal headaches later. Dan focussed on that and eliminated those issues. Anybody that owned the original LW sticks for a number of years knows exactly what I'm talking about. The one complaint I hear about Beast sticks is they are too bulky due to the solid design. Honestly using aiders I don't ever find the need to use more than three sticks. The super light weight easily eliminates the bulk factor. I have found them to pack just fine no matter what system I use saddle or tree stand. Finally the double step is a game changer for me. Add double steps on the LWCG and then the weights will be even higher. That alone is a no brainer right there. Your paying a premium price for LWCG for a product that I believe is WELL below premium level.

There’s nothing empty about what I posted. Their initial weights were way off. They promised lighter and compact. The failed to deliver. What’s worse is that they hired some lawyer to protect them for the stuff they lied about. This can be found on their website. Fact.

I couldn’t resist, I have 3 & would love a 4th...... any beast guys know if/when they’re making another run??
I just got an email that they are about to start another run of them and they should be ready in August.

So it sounds like you have now had a little time to reconsider, or put more thought into, how you feel about them after your initial AT posts?

I think they are good sticks. I don’t like they are heavier than they were promoted to be and I don’t like the deep waterjet marks. I don’t have the stand yet. Should have it Tuesday. I don’t think I would use the sticks if I was not using the LWCG stand.

That being said. I don’t think I will be keeping them or the stand. We will see when the stand gets here.

Couple pics. You can really get a good portion of your boot on the steps. Nice and set out from the tree.

First pic is a beast stick for comparison.

Really I have no dog in the hunt. I just kind of sat back and watched how things progressed, with a mild interest in how they would turn out. The hype for all this LWCG stuff, how it was marketed to be "game changing" & "revolutionary" to the mobile hunter. Me personally, it would be a tough pill to swallow knowing that this stuff was really pushed as ground breaking, ultra light weight equipment, and percentage wise, they missed the mark by quite a bit.

That’s cool they are 4” out kind eliminates the need for a double step, the water jet marks give it a 3D tree bark effect. No shine, look slick
