LWCG 20% off

@enkriss you seem to be the most knowledgeable among us in owning lwcg stands. .5 or .75 is your favorite? Is the extra pound worth the extra platform space?

I recommend watching this and making your decision. You’re much smaller than @enkriss. For a stand, he’s gone to the 1.0 over the .75 so far as I recall. But the video gives you the info to decide for yourself what’s best for you.

Great video! That is surprising about a 1.0 being lighter then a .75 depending on how you configured it.

Right now, I'm for sure getting a mesh seat. My concern is that the seat is TOO big on a .5 so that's why I was leaning toward a .75. But might as well go to a 1.0 maybe....

The 1.0 with the same seat/post configuration is 3.5oz heavier on my scale.

I have went back to the 1.0 for my hang on treestand setup. Driver for is the cables. On the .75 they are the most restrictive. I like to stand close to 50% but the cables are far too restrictive on feet. Also, I have size 13 boots. Behind the crossover the .5 actually has the most room up against the tree if you like to stand. Sitting though my feet really hang over the edge on the .5, so much so that if I don’t have a straight to leaning back tree I feel like I am gonna fall out….lol. .5 is the best hybrid stand though. 1.0 I have plenty of room to maneuver. I can get shots off behind the tree much easier.

I bought the .75 with tall post at the Christmas sale last year as well as the standard .5. I went into this season thinking I would prefer the .75, but honestly I was just as comfortable in the .5. I was truly surprised. I’m 6’1” and tip the scale around 255 with a size 12 boot.

You are a freak of nature.

I have a .75 with the mesh seat. Pretty danged comfortable but the framing at the back of the seat can cause some pressure issues depending on how you sit. I was looking to buy a standard seat to swap out for the mesh one, but I can’t find that as an option on lone wolf’s website, unfortunately.
