Mantis Saddle shipping status

***? Where did you hear that? That means their shipping dates on their web page is s total lie.

Sifers23 says he ordered on 7/27 and is supposed to get his today. They said on the 7th they were shipped through 8/2-8/4

I'm at 6 weeks as well right now. They should have never changed their 3 month timeline it would have saved everyone alot of aggravation. I know I waited to long to place my order so that's on me but dont string us along. Most guys are waiting on larges, just come out and say "Hey guys we've got 10k orders to fill and were drowning here". Stop taking orders and knock them out.

Exactly. If it 10 weeks fine. If your totally overwhelmed and it may be 14 weeks fine. But don’t lie to me.

I mean I understand that they’ve got a lot going on. And I’ve tried to be patient. But it really irks me that we got all those “huge things coming, and we’re killing it” updates and it seemed like they really were making a ton of progress and then all of a sudden they just turned the lights out on everybody. And all the while they’re dropping new products and posting all over social media about going on all these hunts. And I’m over here like hey man get back in the office and get my crap shipped out.

I take it you're referring to me since I've been posting about my hunt this past week. I can promise you this doesn't change how fast things are shipped. There are guys working almost seven days a week shipping. I know it's frustrating, but when we give shipping times it's a "best guess" on what the sew houses will deliver each week. Things ARE getting faster, even though it doesn't seem like it for some.

Were just frustrated and all were asking for is some transparency instead of vague to downright misleading information. The items I've ordered that were in stock have shipped either the same day or the next at the latest. Personally I just want a idea of when I can reasonably expect my order, everyone is trying to plan their seasons out and how and where they are going to hunt. If you are waiting on accessories before you ship say that .... we may already have those items at home and tell you to just ship the other stuff. At the very least tell us what dates and items HAVE ACTUALLY SHIPPED.... Thanks for coming up with a great product btw..

To me what is frustrating is to continue to see threads like this. This isn’t a unique or new problem. Maybe the shipping dates are a little misleading, but with just a little research one should be able to guess that there is a better chance of the shipping deadline being missed than showing up to their door on time. If people are planning their hunting season around a piece of gear that they waited till August to order, then they are probably doing something seriously wrong. What’s their plan if they don’t like or can’t get used to the saddle? Do they go home for the season and hope for something better next year? My guess is they would just use whatever they were using last year, which is what they should be doing now.

When I placed my order i believe shipping times were 8-12 weeks. I wasn't expecting to have a saddle this yr which is fine I have a treestand like most of the people who ordered one. Hell my Archery Season is already over and rifle starts the 28th. The problem started when they began posting updates abt how well they were kicking butt on getting orders out and they're ahead of schedule etc. All of our expectations changed as a result.

Then you hear abt guys getting shipping emails only to have their orders go out a week later than they were told. You have updates being posted and then those get rolled back. The website still claims a certain order fulfillment time frame even though it's not being met. Obviously they weren't expecting or prepared for the response they have gotten for their product. That speaks to the need for their product and how good it is.

All we ask is a for a Honest Response when we inquire into our order status. If you have to move your time frames back to 3 months so be it. People are spending good money. I'm in for 600 bucks for my original order and I've spent almost another 200 on 2 more which I have received. We shouldn't be left in the dark.

There is zero excuse for claiming all orders as of 8/2 shipped by 9/7. However, today 9/18 people that ordered 7/29 are getting shipping notifications.

There is something seriously wrong there...

Maybe so, but I’ve been seeing posts like this for a full year now. Coming on here and complaining about it doesn’t seem to have helped and like I said earlier, it seems by now people would just come to the expectation their shipment will be behind the estimated shipping times rather than all of a sudden expecting them to come through with what they said. In my experience, the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. I have no doubt they are doing everything they can to catch up, but I wouldn’t trust shipping times until I see a pattern of them doing it on a consistent basis.

Wow. That’s an interesting take. So some of us have no idea of what they did or said a year ago! It’s hard to excuse the false updates and hype of we’re killing it over here! Maybe they’ve been doing that all along but I really don’t think so. I really want to love this brand and I’m not a complainer but this is not easy to overlook. A big reason I decided to go with them was the involvement here and communication. The statement earlier that the shipping updates have been a “best guess” all along was really eye opening. Why take the disclaimer of long shopping times down and tell people your killing it and all caught up when nothing’s changed. Maybe that’s how you like people you do business with to behave but I’m sure your in the minority!!

Never said I like it, but I do enough research on a product before I buy it to know what I’m getting into. I bought mine during the presale. They were way behind expected shipping dates, but i wasn’t upset because presales rarely if ever hit their expected times. Anybody that halfway did their homework would know tethrd hasn’t been very good at estimating their shipping times. As a customer, you definitely have the option of canceling the order if you feel slighted, but complaining on social media seems like an exercise in futility.

Saying its gonna take 6 weeks to ship your order when it's really gonna be 8-12 weeks is done for 1 of 2 reasons only. Either you have no clue what your production capabilities are vs your actual demand or you're dealing in false advertising with the sole purpose of driving sales and keeping your competitors on the sidelines.

If your supplier's cant keep up or are providing you with inferior products say so. If you come out and say "Hey guys this last shipment that came in isn't up to snuff so were rejecting it but its gonna put us behind another week or two." WE would be disappointed but totally understand the need for Extreme Quality Control for this type of product.

However what we are getting is either Incompetent or Shady info. There's a really easy fix to this public relations problem that's going on here. Change your time frame on the website and let everyone know where they stand as of today.

I don’t really disagree with what your saying here BUT this isn’t simply not good shipping estimation. They’re telling people they are caught up and giving misleading info at best. They are pretty much a social media business. This is where I found them and have seen most communication from them. We know they are seeing this.

Yeah I’m not sure how tethrd is keeping their competition on the sidelines. Although there are a few more good options popping up, Tethrd’s only real competition is aerohunter and I believe the wait for them is 10 weeks if I’m not mistaken. So if people get too upset and go to aerohunter I would expect the wait to only increase. Let’s face it, at this point there aren’t many good options in getting a product quickly. If people don’t like how a company does business, they can cancel orders and choose something else, but that would be like waiting a long time in a fast food line and getting so mad you left and went somewhere else. By the time you left and waited in another line, you could have gotten your food at the original place. I hope you get your stuff soon and have a great rest of the season!

You just proved my point by saying you believe aerohunter has a 10 week turnaround time. So if I'm a new consumer and I have to choose between 2 products that appear to be equally good on the surface and I'm taking their website at face value. 1 has a 6 week wait and the other has a 10 week wait.

Providing they are comparably priced why wouldn't I go with the one with a quicker turn around time? I mean its gonna get me in a tree a month sooner right? By the time I figure out that 6 weeks turn around time is false I'm screwed. They already have my money and I've lost possibly 6 weeks.

Good luck with your season as well.

Just FYI I ordered my large Mantis kit with predator platform on afternoon of 8/2 and just received shipping notification today on 9/18. Says delivery date will be 9/23. That is 7 weeks and 3 days from order date. When I ordered, the expected lead time was 6-10 weeks. Pretty good estimation in my book. Be patient guys, they are coming.

yep this is exactly what I did and why I ordered a Mantis. I have a hunting trip mid Nov and I placed my order on 9/6 I figured the 10week shipping from aerohunter would cut it way to close, so I went with the 6-8 week shipping from tethrd figuring I would have it for sure. Now after hearing some of the issues I might be in my sitdrag this year..

So, I realize that they are very social media driven, however, one 2 second search gave me all this:

Clearly no surprises on the shipping backlog. If you waited until Aug or later to order your saddle gear for the 2019 season, I wish you good luck. Personally I would have been preparing quite a bit earlier.

Soooo.... they got through one day of large orders in about 2 weeks?....:anguished:
