I mean to to say that the connections near the buckle do not pinch my legs, the connections lower down are pinch heavy for me. I think I mistyped that.Have you tried the other connections on the side?

I've been playing with sitting, but I mostly lean. I enjoy being able to move slowly from leg to leg to reduce stress on feet and legs. Something I always hated about traditional stands was locking me into sitting which makes my ass numb and legs go to sleep. I work hard to stay active while in the "inactive" watching state. All of that to say, I am mostly a leaner so far but with lots of adjustment. I think maybe the micro deals may allow for less adjustment. Or so I hope. Otherwise I guess I am breaking out the sewing machine.I see.
I didn't even know the option was there until someone posted it.
I don't have my leg straps tight at all. In fact the waist belt I keep lose while hanging in the tree too. I'm more of a leaner but I do sit once in a while. How about you?

Mantis should come with those adjusters built in. Seems weird it’s an add on. I think they will really help the comfort level.
it effectively does ("free gift") but gives people who feel like they don't need them an easy alternative.Mantis should come with those adjusters built in. Seems weird it’s an add on. I think they will really help the comfort level.
I think it will make more of a difference for guys that like to sit. I have a kestrel and mantis and I tried tightening the adjustment straps on my kestrel and I couldn’t get comfortable that way. I always just leave them extended all the way out. That’s why I didn’t order any with the mantis.I'll have to see. Personally I don't think it'll make a difference, but I may be surprised.

I think you will be. I monkeyed around with mine some yesterday. Even smal adjustments seemed to cup better, especially while sitting.I'll have to see. Personally I don't think it'll make a difference, but I may be surprised.

Do you have a pic of the elastic keeper? I need something too, alot of excess strap.Didn't mess with mine. I like the one on one side of the buckle, but I like quick and easy adjustability on the other side. I did sew an elastic keeper to keep excess strap in check. I did that for my leg straps too.

1" piece of elastic from JoAnn. Sew at the ends and turn inside out. Make it a little smaller than the strap for a snug fit.
I like it man...were you able to sew them and the slip them over the buckle?View attachment 6849

Good idea man. Pretty simple solution.Yeah, it was a little tough to get over the buckle, but I did it. I have one on each side of the buckle, and one on each leg. With so much strapping in the legs, I double it back over and under the keeper. Keeps it even more secure having a couple layers of strapping tucked in.
