So for a retirement gift, My wife said I could get a new bow since I had to sell my Triax a couple years ago. I went to my local shop in October and the walls were bare and they told me that I could wait about a week and they would have more in or I could wait a month for the new Mathews to come out. I decided to wait and went in the day they came out and shot a VXR 28 they had set up while they were putting the V3 together. The VXR was real nice, but I noticed the bottom of bow kicked forward a little after the shot. once the V3 was assembled, I shot it and it didn't move in my hand at all and the draw cycle was smother as well. I decided that was what I wanted and I bought it. No issues so far. I decided to go with a heavier arrow this time as well. I am shooting Easton Axis 5mm with a 75gr insert and 125 gr Montecs. Total arrow weight is 530gr. Really excited about this new bow.
