My diy perch platform..

@TMerritt2011 what's the weight of your steel perch?
As it is right now is just under 2.25 pounds. I still need to add the tabs that catch the underside of the stepp as well as the tabs that will catch the rung of the stepp. I do not have my stepps yet i just recieved my shipping notice from wild edge today. So i wanted to wait until the stepps are in hand before welding them on and end up with them in the wrong spot or some other mishap. I hope to have my steel perch finished and tested within 2 weeks. I have no clue how long their shipping process takes so i figure 2 weeks is plenty long enough.

what was the final measurement from the back of the rail to where you placed these? Also what type of bar stock did you use? 3/16"x1" or 1/4"X1"

Started my perch clone the other day

I used bed liner for a lil more traction n I couldn't b happier with how it turned out. 6 bucks in metal n 4hrs of my time sure beats $175 perch price tag

are those hooks to grab the rung of the step? what is the thickness of the steel that you made your perch from?
