New Gear for 2023, Go!

The marketing pitch claimed to be the only Made in USA Turkey vest on the market. They need a new market researcher. I can name a couple off the top of my head.

“In bottomland” kind of a silly caveat but he did say it.

I mean they use exo packs and some of vortex’s nicer more expensive glass. Zach and some of the others wear a good bit of first lite stuff too. Just because everything they use isn’t “cheap” doesn’t mean they are going against any message. Not everyone has the money to spend on some of that and they show people that you don’t need it to kill deer. But if I’m spending 100+ days a year hunting like them I’d probably splurge and buy something a little nicer too/ have something that I got to help design how I want it.

You said “buy”. Media and influencers don’t “buy” anything. It’s either given to them or they will ask a company to pay them to review or show off said product. Same in the gun nerd industry also. Tactical YouTube guys will review your product for a few of course. Or wear your product for a fee. Just standard marketing.

Vortex THP optics? Exo K-THP pack? lol.

I don’t expect them to wear Goodwill and live off spam. It’s the Hunting Public, not the Hunting Cheap, I agree. However, their “collaboration“ is really just a product of their partnership. That is an area where things are different now than they once were.

Greg and Zach don’t seem to be on the same page.

Greg says Mossy Oak made the fabric, in the other video Zach said Carl made the fabric from scratch. Lol. Collaboration.

I don’t even know where to begin with making a new fabric. Do they have some sort of lab? Maybe they are like the jelly belly company that sends people all over the world in search of new fibers instead of flavors.

I’m happy someone is trying at least. A quiet cordura seems to be something people want.

Agree. Is that what it’s being compared to? I just heard super strong and super tough.

Badlands had that mutex for their silent series. It never really took off, however they didn’t have the snake oil marketing behind it either.

I don’t see the play here. They go with welded preset stand and not a climber???
30x19 is a huge platform and the mesh seat should a plus and only 10lb. I have no desire for a climber cause telephone pole trees just don’t get me the concealment I’m looking for. I would probably pick one of these up if I hadn’t already bought an XOP for the purpose.

“Super quiet and durable” is what I was referencing. So not their words. I guess I was just putting wishful thinking out there. Alpz outdoors came out with a pack that’s like that silent series called the “Impulse” which I’m currently debating.
