New Gear Release 2022!

Their old rain gear was junk. Looks nice but I'd rather something tried, true, and proven like Kuius line. Best in the business imo

The seek stormtight? I didn’t think it was that bad. What were your issues with it?

I think they have been saying next month every month since October….lol
Does that bother you though? Like I get maybe it’s out of their hands but idk. I guess I wish they were more public about what’s going on with the sticks. The wait is kinda killing it for me

It does bother me. What if I break one and need it fixed or parts? Will I be out of luck? I don’t know… I like the 1lb ea but is my equipment being 1.5-2lbs lighter really going to do anything for me? Is it worth it? I will be honest I am kinda over them…

Got my Turret bow holder. Mounted it on the beast stand. It’s a winner…
Agreed. If you like a bow holder that attaches to your stand this one can’t be beat. It’s 10:1 better than the sidekick imo, especially if you don’t have a lwcg stand. I will be using one this season.

I had the Seak set. Fit and cut was trash. The Jacket was absolutely massive in my normal size, and yet the pants were cut tight so you couldn't layer without sizing up. The Jacket goes right into the hood, whereas my Yukon has a collar with the hood around it. It made the jacket feel akward with the hood down. If you're a hood wearer the Yukon's hood fit far more athleticly and snug so it was actually wearable.
The Yukon's sizing was perfect and consistent. Both the jacket and pants were fit exactly to go over everything as your outermost layer.
A huge, huge deal imo is stretch. The Seak was only 2 way, whereas the Yukon is 4 way. 4 way is easier to draw a bow, easier to walk, muuuuch easier to use climbing sticks as you stretch to climb. The new Omen set says built in mechanical stretch, whatever the hell that is. Better be 4 way.
As far as waterproofness I saw no difference. There isnt a rain set I've ever known or used that will hold off rain indefinitely. If you walk through enough soaked brush it will get through eventually.

I’m glad I’m not the only one over it. I really wanted some. I just wish Tethrd was more open about what’s going on. You’re right, idk if 2-3lbs less in my system will make much of a difference!

Tethrd one sticks were amongst the top two worst sticks I've ever used. The changes don't change my mind in the least. And no, 1-3 lbs difference won't make a lick of difference. What will is hunting quality habitat filled with quality bucks. That's all there is too it

Funny you say that on the Tethrd Ones. I had a fully modded set and never understood why they were loved so much. If you dropped the weight category they were underperformers. I’d there was reliability with the Skeletors they may have been a better overall stick.

I love lwcg products but will say I was not a fan of the double steps either.

Guessing the truth is somewhere between one’s veted opinion and what’s new to them.

I spend way too much on gear and rolled my eyes at $72 bow holder a few posts above and my $50 custom one is decent but not when ROI is factored in. None of this chit kills deer, just account balances.

Hey you guys, take your gear hate elsewhere. This is the thread with all the new sh** that's gonna get it done for me.
:tearsofjoy:

But honestly, I don't know why you'd spend money on stuff that doesn't give you some advantage. Success is often in the margins. If you don't think so...well, you do...but if you want to pretend...honestly, take your gear hate elsewhere,

Do we even have a picture of the Carbon SS climbing sticks? They want $20 for first dibs on them...and they don't have a photo on their site.
