New Gear Release 2022!

First company brings one to the market seems like big opportunities. Lot people don’t like them but down here in the south there are a lot of places they make sense

These look awesome and at $99 each they compete with many other sticks for price!!

I would probably wait for some reviews before buying them. Reviews on their latest stand haven't been so hot.

Looks like Mario is coming out with some sticks. I think I’ll wait on latitudes & Crüzr’s before buying.

@enkriss - You were right - that explains the extended sale price they had for most of this summer on their current stick design…

Imagine that … two grade 8 bolts fixing the integrated standoff & step to the tube … with nice & thick areas that wrap around the tube that don’t appear prone to snapping in half … and no upward bump or angle on the outer corners of the steps … with what looks like a similar offset stacking approach to the Chinaluminum version under recall …

That may be a one stick, not really sure.

Looks like the photo with Rick smiling has two of the prototypes - the short stubby one for 1-sticking is on the table in the background, and the regular length (with holes in the tube) for multi-stick climbing is in the hand of the photographer. I see there's a single hole drilled in the outer edge of each of the integrated standoff/steps - but only on one side. I wonder if they're planning their own proprietary method of securing multiple sticks together for transport, or if it's for something else?

Actually, upon further study - it looks like they drilled through one outer edge of the integrated standoff/step to be able to pass the drill bit all the way to the center to drill the holes for the bolt that passes through the tube from left to right.

That's a great step design how it clamps on the 1in square tube because the size (tolerance) on that alum tube can vary a bit. Looks like a slick setup.

Plus I often like hunting off the bottom step using the top step as a knee rest.
