New Hunting Wardrobe Advice

My eyes are brown. This count? https://skregear.com/collections/shirts-tops/products/kaibab-core-hoodie

Seriously, you ever been to a restaurant in Bay Minette, AL? Ever hear of that Jimmy Buffet guy? Business casual down here means close-toed shoes.
If your a medium this is a good value. @Red Beard says he loves the one he bought from me.

They run a little small though

I just have a leafy suit and wear whatever under it. I did break down and bought a warm jacket and bibs this year but I got them second hand so still got them cheap. All my hunting cloths I try to buy second hand or discounted, nothing matches, doesn’t need too. With the leafy suit I have some quality wool I wear as a base layer, a woolrich sweater I picked up at a goodwill and basically hiking cloths. Save the money in expensive camo and get the leafy suit and buy some duel purpose hiking cloths and a good base layer, that stuff goes on sale and you can pick it up much cheaper than the big name brand camo.

there is a reason sitka fanatic line is called hunting pajamas. never tried first lite but they would be my second

I just spent a week in KS the temps fluctuated from 10deg to 60deg. I use Sitka, and in the mornings I would wear the Fanatic set with a set of merino base layers and Sitka’s heavy base layers over the merino. In the afternoon when it got in the high 30’s I wore the Status set. The key to staying warm for me is good base layers, good wool socks, and a wind proof vest to wear under your outer layer. I wear the stratus vest under my fanatic jacket. If it’s cold I put a mega hand warmer in every pocket of my vest, and it’s like a little heater in there.
