Thank you for the testing and my apologizes for not responding earlier.

I was actually just got home this week after spending three months in the hospital and than rehab after major surgery (never leaving my bed once). I totaled it up and it has been 19 months that I have been dealing with this issue so I am hopeful it is behind me after that amount of time and over 40 hospital admissions. Really it feels like I have been away from my family for the whole 19 months. and to be honest there were times I never thought I would make it home outside of coming home in a box.

After the surgery and speaking with the docs I do not believe my body will be ready this year for the saddle and may have to miss the season all together although i do want a few hunts were I do not have to go deep into the woods.

Lets see how it does.

Thinking good thoughts for you - I cannot fathom the difficulty you are dealing with. I have spina bifida myelomeningocele and have had a few journeys with long Hospital stays. That said nothing like yours so my thoughts are with u.

I've seen a few different kinds of powered rope ascenders, this one is gas powered which might not be the best for hunting applications.
