New Saddle Hunter from OK

Alright alright alright. This will be my first year saddle hunting so I’m still trying to figure out what all materials I will need. I’m kind of on a budget so I’m going with the seat drag rock harness this year!

What kind of rope should I use for my tether? And for my linesman rope?

What size to use for my Prusik knot?

I’ve seen where some Prusik cords don’t work on certain types of ropes and so I’m just trying to get more info on types of ropes to use to keep me safe as possible!

If you're on facebook, there's an Oklahoma Saddle Hunters group that someone recently started up with what seems to be a pretty good membership from the okc area. They've coordinated this event in late July:

Yep I’m working on getting the Tethrd Teach N Train rescheduled. Looking at July 11th but need confirm the pavilion is available. I will post as soon as it’s confirmed.
