New Tribe Aero Hunter Evolution

Cool. Pretty much what I expected. More of a trophyline Aero hybrid. Won't be checking one out for about 3 years or so until my Aero has expired but great concept. Looks comfy.

Glad to see they finally let the cat out of the bag! This has been a work in progress. Been testing prototypes since November. Was able to harvest 2 deer from prototypes, one of those I was able to harvest with fellow New Tribe pro-staffer "Sparrowhawk" hunting in his prototype just a few feet away, we were comparing how each other hunted. Hopefully this is something that most of you guys were looking for! We tried hard take in as much information that you guys offered up in the development of the Evolution. Big thanks to New Tribe and the pro staff members who all had a hand in the design of this and keeping it on the DL, Mr. Eberhart, Joeaxe and Sparrowhawk.

Thanks,
Boswell

We designed it so that it can be used with a current Aero belt, only a few minor changes were made. This allows people to buy just the seat and attach it to their current belt and paws.

Thanks,
Boswell

Sweet. I like having options. Plus early season might be a little warm with the new set up.

I can't wait to try the new model out. When it first came out last year I decided I would wait and see how people liked it before I purchased one. Well after hearing everything you guys have said about it and now that New Tribe has had your input for the new model, I am really excited! Boswell, after I get mine you are going to have to tell me how to optimally adjust everything :D

I think thats pretty great for the current aero owners and good to know.

Great news!!!

Was glad to have some input on the Evolution. Thanks, Boswell, for all of your efforts on this!

"Aero" Joe

It's sweet. As far as adjustments go, the evolution is comfortable right out of the box. No major tweaks needed.

Upgrading to Aero Evolution
Owners of the original Aero Hunter may ask to upgrade to the new Aero Evolution sling seat. The sling seat and conversion hardware available for sale to current Aero owners who ask for it. We will provide conversion instructions for you to follow. Price to be announced.

To put the price of Aero Hunter in perspective, consider these points:

a. Impressive quality, made in USA, and built to last.

b. Serious life-safety materials and construction

c. Intelligent design, inspired and field tested by expert hunters

d. Aero Evolution has features built-in that were add-ons to the original Aero

e. Aero Evolution is priced only $20 more than original Aero, with improvements worth much more.

f. The components of the Aero Hunter tree hunting system can be purchased separately. You don't have to duplicate any part you already have, and you can source your own parts if you want something different or cheaper than the Aero components.

g. Your investment in hunting gear is going to run you $150 to $350 for a tree stand or Guidos Web. You get the quality and function you pay for. With Aero you get a system built with professional tree climbing savvy, expert attention to safety issues, and customized features for the most comfortable, versatile hunting experience.

h. Good materials and good design work aren't cheap. Pricing is based on cost, not what the market will bear. It is a New Tribe value to provide the very best, at the lowest possible price.

One other note, The padding is now built into the system. No need to purchase them extra, they are now included. Saves you some more money.

Thanks,
Boswell

I'll probabley buy the seat before the beginning of the season anxious to see what it will run.

Thanks for all the great information Boswell.

Question on sizing. I am a 36 waist so I fall right in the the middle between the sizes. I am only 5'7" so I'm not a big guy and I usually lean towards smaller sizes. With the tree saddle I started with a large and switched to a medium and was much happier with that. Do you think I'd be better off with size 1?

I am leaning towards size 1 unless you convince me otherwise.

Thanks redsquirrel, I've been a long time saddle hunter and it's nice to hear everyones ideas. Great question on the size, I'm 6' 220lbs 34" waist and like a medium saddle. I also have a xl-tall guidos web and went to a large reg. which was much better. I would think sticking to the smaller size would be better on this one also. Hopefully Boswell or some one knows.

Great to have you here! I am interested to hear what everyone has to say on sizing but I did go ahead and order the smaller size because I'm almost positive thats what I need.

FYI the pre-order price for the Evolution has been extended until June 15th.

Here are some pictures of the Evolution in comparison to the Aero, in all photos the Aero is pictured on top the Evolution on bottom.
