No more feathers for now, what elevated rest do you recommend?

Updates. So good and bad results. It was me. My arrows were not tune well. When I bareshaft, I did not take into account that I'm shooting at a target on the ground. So I was actually hitting the riser, once I move my nocking point up a little and elevated target off the ground, the feathers clear the bow cleanly.

Then I finally accepted that it was me AGAIN with caveat. Feathers are durable enough and they will last awhile, as long as you are not missing the targets or bad luck. I spent a week visiting the in-laws and was able to shoot every day. Took just 3 arrows with me and came home with one fletching damaged beyond usable. This was due to missing badly and having the tarp wrapping of the target catching the feathers right in the middle.

So I am accepting re-fletching is the cost of not being accurate.

BTW, I am loving 4 fletching. I don't personally notice it being louder then 3 fletching and they seem to fly really well for me. This is my main setup now.

Beautiful setup. Looks really good. I love my maddog. Holds a special place in my heart as far as bows go. It was my first custom as well and being such a small bow I’ve shot it without any issue out of tree stands and about every environment. Good luck this season.

Didn’t read all the post but if you want a great elevated rest despite it looks flimsy get a cheap WHITE color hoyt rest for 2.50$ and be done with it. Instant clean arrow flight and last a long time and comes with couple different glue in foam spacers to accommodate center shot or get a simple bear rest that works great and neither needs to have a riser drilled for them. I have risers that are drilled and tapped for plungers and elevated rest and have used them for years but find since I’m not a target shooter I don’t need to use them do I gravitated to the stick on rest like the 2 mentioned and have used others but these 2 held up the best and are the easiest to tune

A quick coat of black or brown spray paint makes them blend into bows a little better and lasts the life of the rest. (Most bows anyway, probably have to paint it hot pink or yellow to blend in with @Red Beard's bows)
