Northwest Arkansas, Easter Oklahoma, Southwest Missouri Saddle Hunters

I have wanted to hunt there for a few years but haven’t been able to make the time to scout and check it out.

I’ve got a map and know a couple good spots. If you’d like to meet up out there send me a pm and I’ll get you my contact info. The AGFCMOBILE plants crops out there every year but they change the locations every year. They may have not planted this year I haven’t been out there

I think that would be great. I am out of town this weekend but can probably do something in the next week or so after.

Hey Everyone,

I am just trying to get a group thread going for this area. I feel like we are growing and it could also be a central location for eastern Oklahoma and southwest Missouri. I have had a rough year as far as hunting goes with all that we have had going on in our lives but some of that is winding down. I want next season to be awesome! I think a big help for that would be getting together and sharing hunting knowledge, set ups and techniques, and drinking beer with like minded individuals.

I'm not sure what a good time of year would be. My preference would always be before the ticks and chiggers fully awaken but we can do whatever works the best. If anyone has some land we could stay on that may be fun. We could do some target shooting, cooking, drinking, and climbing. Not necessarily in that order.

Let me know. I think it would be fun and really beneficial to most of us.

Awesome Idea Owasso, Ok here

Norman, OK last summer was warm. So, earlier in the year would help.

Yeah, our bow season in Arkansas ends the last day of February. I think could shoot for sometime in March. It would let us do some post season scouting, share gear knowledge and techniques, and get out before the heat and bugs come back. As of now if I get an opportunity to have free time I want to spend it hunting.
