NutterBuster's 7oz Pocket Tether

I threw a carabiner to my waist belt on my rope tether. Plan on the same for my webbing.

@Nutterbuster thank you for this video. I have the buckle on order and plenty of Bluewater tubular webbing to play with. Can't wait to set it up, but looks like I'll be waiting anyways from AustriAlpin.

I really like mine. I run my tag end thru my bridge and up to tie to the tether, just for added security. That roller pin looks awefully small but have never had any issues w/ it.

Yes, I did. And I paid their silly shipping. I think it's actually shipping internationally. May be wrong on that though. I know it took a Mississippi-minute to get here.

Coming from Austria...slower than the Mississippi minute...more like a Missouri mule.

Glad it's working for you!

Do be very careful switching webbing. Tubular is much stronger than any flat webbing I've ever encountered. I have never found a flat webbing that I would trust with my life.

You need to look at cmcpro.com https://www.cmcpro.com/c/web/. They have flat webbing that is designed for rescue work that is rated for 26.6 and 27kN. They make the rescue webbing that I have both in black and bright orange. They also have fire escape webbing that is rated at 27kn and is heat resistant and at 2.36 a foot very expensive. I have approximately 70' of black and 35' of orange. And that's after I made two 10' tethers and 2 lineman's belts.

Just got in my buckle and tri-glides. I paired this tether and bridge up with my Wraptor saddle (thanks for the post @Bwhana ), set of 6 squirrel steps with OCB buckle and Amsteel linemans for a total weight of 4lbs 5oz.. That includes the little dump pouch I carry it all in. Thanks for the video @Nutterbuster !

Just got my buckle in today. Took approx 2 weeks to get it and am excited to use it. Talk about bulk reduction! Looks like it's going to make climbing and walking in so much easier w/o the bridge in your way. Thanks for the great idea.
