Nice lookin gear. I hope my mantis ships but I have a sit drag on the way as plan b just in case. I've used a RC harness as my safety gear for the last 5 years from stands so shouldn't be anything too new. I'll get a day or two to play before hunting from it. Got too try to contribute to the team you know.:)
 
Thanks to Jefferson10940 for lending me a harness, I'm in fight. I tried out my setup the other day and loved it. Should be in the deer woods this weekend. Hopefully will be able to put some points on the board

Season is open here in NY but this weekend will be my first time out! @DropTine don't go falling in love with the most comfortable saddle ever ... the TL ;) I hope you get to put it to good use until your Mantis comes! I actually have not had a chance to hunt out of that ambush yet, so you could be the first kill out of it!!! Get after it brother

Good luck guys. Put some points on the board for Team 3!
 
Got a sit drag in yesterday. Modified with a web belt and 1 inch tubular web bridge. Hung in the basement a while. Seems comfy. I’ll test it Sat in the afternoon hunt. Good luck fellas.

Gotta tell ya the thing is really comfortable. Never used any saddle before but was expecting it to be a little uncomfortable. Not at all really looking forward to getting out

The leather TL is the most comfortable in my opinion. The mesh/ambush is comfy and light material, great for early season
 
Yeah I love it. Love hunting early season as well. Thinking about leaving work early to try and get into the woods.
 
Lol I did and was telling my wife my plan to hunt tonight and she told me that I had other plans waiting for me. Daughter needed me to take her to cheerleading practice.
 
I got out sat evening. Hiked an 1 hr into public land. Set up in what I thought was a good spot. Then the wi d started to change and swirl. I started to climb down right when deer decided to show up. They never saw me but heard o e blow. I went back up thinking they might still come in. 30 min later another group came in all does. That bedded down in some high grass 60yards away for a while then they moved out. NO JOY but did see a few. Also on my way out I jumped a big deer not sure what but its exit rt was onto a nice point that I will set up on next time
 
Between the weather and winds it's been a slow start so far. If the wind stays consistent I plan on heading to a small patch of apple trees next to bedding in a few hours.
 
Eh guys its still early. The weather has definitely not be cooperating with us this year!! We got this though our team has the most awesome lineup of hunters!!
