Got my one stick yesterday, put it together and headed to my buddies to climb some trees! Hung the stick, made two more moves and was easily where 3x sticks and an aider gets me. Rappelled down and felt like a real badass! Besides hurtin’ my nads a touch :tearsofjoy: I should’ve adjusted my saddle a bit better before heading down! It took me the same time to get up the tree as 3 sticks, but I know with practice I should be even quicker!

One sticking is where its at. I am afraid to be without a set of sticks though. As I am afraid to be without a treestand even though I haven’t hunted out of one in 3 years....

I had that thought! I’ll keep my sticks around for sure.

You must have less snow down your way. I have been thinking about practice climbing, but that's how far i have gotten.

Me too. We only have about a foot. I looked for sheds today and walked about 4-5 miles before I found any tracks. Exhausted!

I am not even thinking about scouting right now..We have at least 18" and its mixed, fluff and crust in there too.
5 miles in a foot of snow would be exhausting, you are gonna sleep well tonight.

I'm a hoarder. I have a hard time getting rid of my hunting stuff. My son in laws will hit a jack pot when I'm gone.

Only reason I married my wife. Father in law has 5 safes full of umm....annual HESS toy trucks. It was a gentlemen's understanding AKA dowry for getting her and her dolls collection out of his house.
