It's illegal to shoot albino deer in some states?I would definitely shoot a piebald deer. I would shoot an albino if it was legal in my state. A deer is a deer, if I get a chance to take one with a cool pattern thats a plus.
According to mossyoak website "Some states protect albino deer populations from harvest such as Minnesota, Tennessee, Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa. Even piebald deer with more than 50 percent white hair are protected in Iowa and the same for Montana with more than 75 percent". Dec 2, 2021It's illegal to shoot albino deer in some states?

There definitely some piebald genetics coming out in that one.I got this one several years back. It had a piebald spot on its neck. It is probably from the same genetics as that buck. It was from the same general area.
It looks more like fur than hair. Could it be a black bear?Looks almost black! The color was throwing me off
It was definitely a doe. I have only ever seen one bear in all my years in the woods here in Mississippi. It looks more like fur than hair. Could it be a black bear?
That's interesting. I've never heard any bad luck associated with killing a piebald. Bad luck for the piebald, I guess. My Dad always said you would have seven years of bad luck so I probably wouldn’t but if it was a bruiser I’d have a hard time not shooting.
