Does anyone have a video or input on pioneer steps by bullman outdoors as a ring of steps.

I have them and have hunted from them once.... I like them pretty well. They seem comfortable and they are compact

I use the Pioneer minimalist system to climb, and have used their Silent Approach ring of steps with the ratchet strap. The Pioneers are fantastic for climbing but the Silent Approach hurt my feet from standing on them for just a few minutes. I couldn't imagine standing on the smaller Pioneers for any longer than it takes me to climb.

On the other hand, plenty of people love their ROS systems. So I guess you won't know until you try it. For myself, I just like a big, sturdy platform. I currently use the OOAL Ridge Runner or occasionally the smaller Wild Edge Perch.

I used a set of 6 Pioneer steps on one of DanOs OCB straps this season. Nice and light and stable as any. I actually like a bit of flex in my ROS so that they adjust to the angle of my feet. Only when I really lock them don't do I start getting some discomfort

I use pioneer to climb and the silent approach steps on the rachet for ROS, hard to beat just massage the rachet

I’ve tried squirrel, tree hopper , ameristeps on ocb but by far the best in my opinion is the rachet and the silent approach

The idea is to sit using a ROS not so much stand on them. Most of your weight should be in the saddle.
