I am looking for drop leg options for the Judge as well. I think that would be a good solution too.I have an old drop leg holster I use, works fine.

Can’t carry in Missouri during bow season unless you get a conceal and carry license. Which is pretty much obsolete since you are allowed to carry without one in the state Any other time now.
Archers hunting deer or turkeys during the archery season
may not be in possession of a firearm. Some exceptions
apply. See 3 CSR 10-7.432 and 3 CSR 10-7.455 of the Wildlife
Code of Missouri.
Use archery methods only;
firearms may not be possessed except any
person may carry concealable firearms, as
defined in Chapter 571, RSMo, on or about
his/her person while hunting. Firearms possessed under this exception may not be used
to take wildlife while archery hunting.
(4) "Concealable firearm", any firearm with a barrel less than sixteen inches in length, measured from the face of the bolt or standing breech.
Last year I was carrying concealed on public in bow season (don’t have a license just have the constitution), and a warden stopped me at the parking lot. I told him I was carrying and he didn’t care at all. I don’t know if he realized there was a legal question or just didn’t care but he checked my license and went on.I've looked it up before and that's not entirely accurate. I used to have a conceal carry license, but even under constitutional carry you're covered.
Here's the rule under the 2020 Fall Deer & Turkey hunting regs (page 24):
And if you look up 3 CSR-10-7.432 (page 8):
So, in essence a concealable firearm is okay to carry on your person while bow hunting in Missouri. The definition of which (per Chapter 571, RSMo) is as follows:
I wouldn't want to get in an arguing match with a game warden over it but rather gladly take a ticket and his badge number. And then light his *** up to his superior the following business day.
As far as carrying, the only times I can see myself needing my sidearm is during the walks to and from my hunting location. I have a holster attached to the hip belt of my pack for such occassions.
I saw a guy with something like this:Does anyone have a creative pistol carry setup? Seems like a standard side carry holster won’t work in my saddle. I tried am the Eberlestock Nosegunner but that would have to come off to get a bow shot. I would like a solution that stays on me. I was thinking a drop leg setup possibly. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
In New York you can’t carry during bow or muzzleloader season, open carry is also illegal unless while in the act of hunting, I just open carry they can go $&@? off
Thanks! I will check it out.I saw a guy with something like this:
Maybe that would work for ya, other than that I have a drop leg holster that I float back and forth with my alien gear IWB holster. Admittedly the alien gear I usuall take off and put in my backpack for the hunt.FHF Gear PRO binocular harness and Razco Gear Holster Review
