I'm sticking with a regular Predator and Tree Suit platforms for this reason. I have a certain threshold (at least now when I am out of shape due to back injury that is healing) where I need to keep my pack around 18 lbs. If I get over 20 lbs, it starts to feel heavy much more than it should. So, I am watching every ounce. I even bought an ultralight branch saw that weighs 2 ounces and had to ship from the UK!
Yeah I'm trying to avoid bringing a giant pack into the woods with me. My Predator came today and it fits in my old Red Head backpack. I have a sling for my mini sticks and can just wear my saddle in. Can one stick or something and carry even less. The Mission was just a little too big, but it's what some people are looking for. It was just awkward enough for me to carry that i'd rather bring my XOP hang on that has molle waist straps if I need more room.
