Solid choices, completely subjective. Buy both & keep the one you like better. Slightly more expensive but LWCG ambush is similar size.....
^ sound advice, you’ll get your money back in no time in the classifieds here for the one you decide to sell

They told me about seven days ago they were supposed to have enough to handle the orders coming in

I saw the email while waiting in line of the Dunkin’ Donuts this morning. made the order as fast as I could. I guess many people had the same thoughts / plans.

I just checked the website, there is no message that they will be available soon. Try clearing your web cache and log in again. I hit the purchase now and payed by PayPal this morning.

They only have a thousand in stock is what one of the salesman told me so if you're going to order it you better hurry up

6’ - 280 lbs - 13 EEE boots

had ooal solo scout - too small for me
Have ooal ridge runner - I like it a lot
Just ordered the TL Mission and ooal ridge runner XL

I do not feel comfortable sanding on RR platform with my back to the tree. I have 2 setups in clumps of trees where I need to do exactly that. So, today I ordered the Mission and RR XL. Hoping that one of them will work for me for standing with back against the tree.

I didn’t try the predator or predator xl as I am heavy and I saw YouTube video and there seemed to be sound and movement with the predators. And the guy is much lighter than me. No firsthand knowledge of the predators though.

I can tell you the mission will absolutely work for standing back against the tree. That’s how I use mine quite a bit and it’s great. Just like a mini tree stand. I’m sure the RRXL will do the same and be fine, but the mission is just so rock solid with no flex or movement. I’ve just been really impressed with it.

Thanks for the input. I guess the mission should be here within a week or so. The RR XL probably three weeks or so.

Good thing my season goes until mid February. I really want to give them both a good testing.

Thx!

You’re welcome! Yeah my season goes to about then too. Sure helps when you still want to tinker and play with new stuff.

Now that I have a saddle, what is the best platform to use? I am looking for one to be able to stand on as well as lean to shoot from. From what I have looked into from reviews I like the Teathered Predator XL & the Trophyline Mission. Which one do you think is better & what is your attachment meathod? Also are there any other platforms similar to these that I don't know of that work as well? I also only weigh about 165 pounds
INMHO and experience saddle hunting is kind of a minimalist mentality...the predator g2 is small lightweight and seconds to install...rock solid when installed...side pressure is not even an issue...when I say small I dont mean too small...I think its perfect and I'm 195lbs...165lbs should be a breeze...saddle hunting is so much about personal preference that its hard to give advice...only experience...at 3 lbs and ample space being rock solid, quiet and ease of install in the dark the predator is a no brainer in my experience...Tethrd makes awesome stuff!

I ordered mine Saturday, and it arrived yesterday. Sadly, my wife like it so much that she took it from me and told me to keep using the Predator.

Whoa! I ordered Friday when it first popped on (refreshing site constantly). I got the confirmation email but no shipping email and no product. What gives?

EDIT: No sooner than I post this, I get the email that my order has shipped. Arriving Monday. Still not sure why a Saturday order guy has theirs in hand already, but oh well. So it goes. Looking forward to playing with the Mission.

Ordered the mission today - hoping to attempt my first saddle hunt next week. I'm as green as green can be on saddles, but been hunting from trees for over 40 years, so I am hopeful that the transition will be easy.
