I just wanted to update everyone on my daughter's progress. She has full pancreatic function currently. We're blessed that she has been healed through God's hands. I'm convinced that her healing from the surgery was a miracle. She was out of the hospital in 12 days, which is amazing considering the surgical team thought it would be a 3-4 month hospitalization.
She may require another procedure to remove the stent that was used to bring her pancreas back together. Her surgeon indicated that it is likely that the stent could have fallen out on its own. She will have another MRI scan in a few weeks to look at that and to check her pancreatic ducts.
He also updated us on the surgery itself. Her surgery was the first successful stage 4 pancreatic surgery in the world (basically reattaching the two halves of the pancreas).

This is an extremely active forum. There are dozens of new posts every day, to the point that I doubt anyone can follow them all. There are so many threads that I just pass on by. But this one grabbed me.
I believe that it was another way that God talks to us on an individual basis.
