Quiver on quiver off??

I prefer to take mine off in the tree and have it set to pull another arrow if needed as others have said. I generally practice with and without it but not purposefully, more because it depends on time and what range I’m at.

Side note, and this may not be true. But I’ve always thought the quiver on and having my bow between the deer and myself helps to break up my profile. That may or may not be true, but it makes me feel more hidden when I’m on the ground and a deer is looking right at me haha.
That's another good point too.

I usually take my quivers off in my stand. I practice my shooting without the quiver.
I'm wondering if a guy should leave it on for both practice and hunting. I'm thinking it would be a lot less
dinkin around on stand taking it off and hanging up. I'm shooting trad and compounds.
What you all think. It's a dilemma every year!
Man lots of opinions on this subject. That’s why I think this a great forum. I have 53 seasons in and I learn and enjoy all the young guys great ideas that share the love of our sport of hunting and the outdoors. As far as quiver on or off, to each his own. I personally still struggle with it but remember it’s not life or death but a work in progress. I’m having fun here. Likely leaving quiver on the stick off on the compound. But never say never.

That is true, a bow quiver is the more efficient way to carry arrows around. Do you have any pictures of how you hang your bow+quiver on the tree while saddle hunting? I'm still trying to figured out that part when I use my one piece longbow with a EFA on it.
Hero clip with gear strap, gets it out far enough away from the tree the quiver won't interfere

I keep the quiver on all the time. I sometimes hunt from the ground, every tree or blind setup is unique. So my logic is that by keeping the quiver on all the time I maintain consistency.
