Ok...I can send this off to the next person. Did check and my arrows do fly better with the 100 grain heads. Good to know.

I would love to get on the list if I can.

Are you guys just deciding on a spine and seeing what weight it shoots best or are you trying multiple arrow/weight configurations?

1. DroptineKrazy is recieving he 200-300 grain kit from gcr0003
2. @Blacksmith will be recieving the 200-300 grain kit from @DroptineKrazy when he is done
3. @TNbowhunter is receiving the 100-200 grain kit now and will recieve the 200-300 grain kit from blacksmith next.
4. @Tjraley2 , you would be 3rd in line to get the 200-300 grain kit or next in line to try the 100-200 grain kit. Which would like to try?

I needed new arrows anyway so I bought a dozen and went spine down. I went from 340s to 300s. I then had 5 of them cut in quarter inch increments from 30" up to 31", i.e 30, 30.25, 30.50, 30.75 and 31" (i left the rest full length while testing). I then shot the 200, 225, 250, 275, and 300 tips on each length arrow to find which flew the best. Essentially, I found what arrow length matched with what weight. I then chose what weight broadhead and insert I wanted to use i.e. I want a total weight up from of 250 grains; therefore, I want to go with a 100 grain insert and a 150 grain broadhead. Then, since I already shot all the arrow lengths and weights all I had to do was choose the arrow length that flew best with 250 total weight up front. For me this was 30.25".

I’ll wait on the 200-300 kit. Thanks!

Can I join in the fun? I’m more interested in the 100-200 kit. My new arrows come in this week depending on hold ups with usps.
