Ridge runner?

I jumped, I anticipate it will be a good fit. Early archery coues opens this month and I have a couple good lookin setups. Thanks for all of the input!
 
I too ordered one of these. It looks pretty good. I have been hesitant for a platform because I like to hunt with my feet a little apart. This looks like it will allow that. I will see if it will take the place of my ring of golden buck steps once I get it.

How do you like your podium? I'm green and just got my saddle in and started practicing. I've been using a ros because I'm trying to stay as light and minimalistic as possible. But, in the event that I decide I want a platform I really like the podium as an option.

Just looked into carting a RR, came to same total (159+20). Predator is 179 with free shipping. First world problems abound...
 
what does the turn around look like on the ridge runner. im in the market for a platform and just curious what buy to ship dates look like with them

I think Matt said on FB that lead time would be around 2 weeks. Orders before the 18th are supposed to ship by the end of this week, after the 18th by the end of next week.

The things that won me over the Predator were the proportions, nicer leveling screw, and the fact that it's actually painted. And, at the time I ordered, it was $20 cheaper including shipping.

You can use the predator with a rope mod or daisy chain. The way the ridge runner is designed to cam over it seems like it will only work well with a cam buckle. But ... the ridge runner has a wider platform and you can stand straight with both feet comfortably. The ridge runner also has incredible traction. It has the best adjustment knob of any platform. It's cheaper. Both are great platforms and have their advantages. Here is a good video displaying the ridge runner.

I sold my ridge runner. The predator cammed better and I liked how I could stand on the side of the predator. The predator is also lighter.

Nothing wrong with the ridge runner. It’s solid. I just prefer the predator design.
 
Anyone mind sharing a picture of how they attach their ridge runner to their pack? Love the platform so far but still trying to find an ideal way to pack it in.
 
Interested, I used a back pack strap and threw it over my shoulder. It was too wide for my pack. I too am looking for ideas
 
The grip on the Ridge Runner is amazing. You will appreciate the extra width and footprint of the platform as well.
