Saddle hunters support thread.

This is completely against my norm but I don't think I really need to want anything this year. Bow, arrows, broadheads, saddle, platform etc. all worked fine last season so there isn't a need to upgrade anything. Depending on the condition of my SRT rope by mid-summer, I may replace it but that's a wear/use replacement and not a "I want it" replacement.

What's wrong with me?!?

im in the same boat, my only need was a new pack, other than that I’m just tinkering with what I have

If the gear/clothing doesn't check at least one of those boxes, I can pretty easily talk myself out of buying it.

I really like this. Making all my gear work as a cohesive unit along with clothing that actually fits how I hunt. I’m getting better at resisting the newest fads

I refer to that as a condition called complacency…. Complacency breeds failure :sweatsmile: so you gotta keep searching for the bigger better deal

I have so far too. Still have until midnight technically. Where I get in trouble is when everyone else goes to bed and it’s just me up by myself looking at hunting toys online. After sulking about XYZ sometimes I get weak and plug my CC numbers in. Gotta stay strong.

My mentality is I just want a system that all
Works together. Saddle, clothes, bow and camping. Like for example. One weight base layer for all year, two mids one down and one shell. Just have to layer up or down.
