Saddle hunters support thread.

I haven't got a new fangled fancy pack. Nope not me. Don't need it.

Yeah I just went looking.

Don't look. Lol.

Found one that's convertible from a waist pack to a full sized backpack. Complete with bow holder. And the pockets-----ALL THE POCKETS!

And it'd available in RT Edge.....my fav camo pattern.

Darn you @HuskerInIowa !!!!

Lol

Ya'll are enablers! Hahaha ha

Luckily I went down the arrow building rabbit hole last year. Arrow saw, fletcher, spinner, a few dozen shafts, vanes, wraps, etc. I should hopefully be set.

As for a pack, I think my current pack will do but it doesn't have any molle on it. I'm thinking I want molle straps. Oh no here we go.

Your going to shoot your new arrows on your old bow?

What boots are you going to wear???

I think @Plebe has a pop up 28 in the classifieds. Every saddle hunter is expected to own a pop up 28

Yeah. I bought one last October. Liked it so much I bought several more as gifts for family. Then before Christmas my dad bought himself a new pack so I got him something else. And my younger brother "borrowed" my Kuiu Pro so I told him to keep it. My older brother is using his Popup. For the money, it's a great frame pack. My preference is to swap the belt out.

No MOLLE except on the belt. But with the load shelf system and/or a stick-it, it's very capable. I mean, look what it can do...lol.

Only the cool saddle hunters use trad bows. You need one of those. Like a Raven.....

You are doing this all wrong. It is not your job to be online shopping for stuff. That is our job. Your job is to pay for the stuff we find for you. Come on now tighten up and get with the program. ;)

I need help.

In just a matter of 2 weeks, I went from "I'm interested in saddle hunting but not sure if I'll like it so I'm going to keep it cheap" and bought the XOP Mondo, XOP X2 sticks, and XOP platform. Then, I started getting interested in one-sticking. Then dove down the rabbit hole of rappelling.

Figuring I would "one-stick" with one of my X2 sticks, and use the platform, I purchased a rappel kit from EWO, and an aider. Soon after, I purchased a cam cleat and full bury amsteel rope.

This should have made me happy.

But like an addict on a binge, I soon found myself back on the EWO website.

I just ordered an ultimate platform, double step with slots for a 1" aider strap, an ultimaider, an ultimaider pack and play, a pull up cable, and a bottom bracket.

I may need to contact EWO and have them ban my IP.

Can’t forget new bow.
