Saddle hunters support thread.

I've been eyeing muzzleloaders again and haven't even hunted with my new bow or my new rifle yet.

And the dang duck thread has got me looking at 12 and 20 gauges as well.
Fella my wife teaches with said if I had a muzzleloader I should come out with them. She said I should think about getting one so I could go. I’m not even that interested in it but I’m pretty sure I have to be now; they’ve got a big chunk of private and she told me to.

Gonna dodge the waterfowl bullet longer. I’ve done it, loved it, wouldn’t mind going a time or 4 a year, but I don’t see a decoy and wader sale and get amped up like I used to.

I've not been bit by the muzzleloader bug thankfully. Just don't really have an interest. I'll use my bow all the way up till rifle season, and even then bow still unless I come across a deal on a lefty bolt gun in a deer caliber or a nice 30-30.

I've posted previously to extoll thrle virtues of the T/C Contender and Encore rifles. 1 receiver fits rifle and shotgun and yes, muzzleloader barrels. If you got an Encore inline in .50 you could slowly accumulate accessory barrels in anything from .22LR to 12ga to .300WM and everything in between. Even if you ultimately don't get into ML hunting you could swap the barrel for one suitable for other hunts more your style.

Not sure in other states but here in TN I can hunt archery during muzzle loader and rifle season, as long as I have my archery license. I don't need muzzle loader license to use my bow during muzzle loader season. That's what I plan on doing anyways.

I got my goodies today finally.

Bottom step, bottom bracket, ultimaider, pack and play, ultimate platform.

Converted one of my XOP sticks.

as for GAS, I'm wanting a CGM Cobra in a bad kinda way.

Fell off the wagon. I bought recently.
-Centerpoint CP400 crossbow and arrows
-Latitude Carbon Sticks
-Used Ridge Runner
-Used Carter Like Mike
-Used JX3

I have sold a few things and canceled my Waldrop order. So I don’t think I’m in the red too bad. But yikes. Time to put it all to use. Unfortunately have to work this weekend with the cold front coming in.

I’d say you did! But, it’s okay we still support you

That thing better be equipped with a laser guided branch avoiding heat sensing heart detecting targeting system for that price! Wow!

There are 6 of them! AND a waterproof case! With the engraving they’re barely making any money and I, as a good American, will not stand by and watch a good company lose money when I can help them.

wow how selfless of you.... let us know when you send a couple of arrows over a deers back into the abyss and you shed one solitary tear

I've got a $200 MidwayUSA order assembled for some reloading stuff. I've accumulated quite the stockpile of .444 brass, and, at $60/box for new ammo, I've got to reload it. And, I need to find a whitetail load my .308 "recce carbine" likes to cycle. And I'm finally ready to bite the bullet for the Tempilaq I need to make .357 Max AR brass so I can shoot any of these out of my saddle.

But I really don't want to spend $200 right now. But I want all this stuff! Help me out guys...

If you don’t spend it and reload it you’ll end up in a bind needing ammo and have to go buy new which would actually cost you more so you aren’t really spending $200 you’re SAVING hundreds more.

You've convinced me. This is worth 3 boxes of ammo which is coincidentally about half as many projectiles as I have to load up...

I have to agree here. Never a bad time to buy reloading components, especially with next year coming up. I'm getting "now in stock" emails from Midway for stuff I added to my notify list in 2020. Always good to have it.
