Road hit birds? Niiiiice!I've been saving my turkey wings and cutting wings off of road hit birds for years. Always used them for flu flu arrows but now I need to start investing in a burner or chopper I guess.
I found two ths spring (hens unfortunately) was able to salvage the wings from both, and one wing had the bones intact so I was able to put together another wingbone call. Also had my kansas and oklhoma gobblers that I saved.Road hit birds? Niiiiice!
Thanks buddy. I went with the @Razorbak66 special top coat... one part 2 parts epoxy to five parts acetone. I was uber-skeptical at first because my experience with two part epoxy has been a gloppy one in the past. After I set out into it though, it turned out amazing!I would recommend also picking up some type of paste wax for a final finish and waterproofing, looks awesome
You killing me smalls! Not an upgrade... just something I've wanted to try (longbow). Shirley Nitro is still in the number one spot without a contender in sight.@Red Beard you should tell everyone what you upgraded to from the Sage since you started this thread LOL
The man is on a mission and roll at the same time

Gotta switch back. My pap’s bow is a rightyForm looks good as a righty. Hang one on each side of the tree, no more weak side shots.
I always kept a 40lb sage with a clicker and a handful of feather fletched arrows in the range for my personal use when it was slow.I just shot a sage for the first time… dang son, not shabby at all.
Yep. Wait till you begin sanding it.Wow…
I’d probably get one for myself after shooting one if they werent so dang ugly! Your sanding and finish upgrade is ‘game changer’!Yep. Wait till you begin sanding it.
