I'll post my impressions to the thread once it arrives, so no one here is going in blind.

I wouldn't mind having a newer Pfaff or Adler with that high lift option....

NVM, seller just told me they only have 14.7mm collets, despite what the description says.

That sucks. I was beginning to like that idea.

Now they're saying it will work. This should be fun.... At least they offer free returns!

At this point, I'm assuming they have no idea and I'm the guinea pig.

Just curious of your thoughts on the rpm’s for these motors. It lists 500-3500. Do you believe that’s the setting options for top speed? My current servo goes down to 500 rpm’s but I’m using a 45mm pulley to a bigger hand wheel which slows it down more. I’m just wondering if 500 rpm’s as a direct drive is slow enough or if 500 is just the max setting and it’ll go up to 500 max at that setting but will run less depending on how you press the pedal.

I'm betting it's the top speed. What kind of servo motor do you have, brushed or brushless? If it's brushless like mine, it should go much lower than 500, it's just not explained well on the instruction sheet.

I’ve got the consew csm 3000. It’s 750 watts and brushless. I should have said mine has 500 or 600 for lowest max setting. It does run slower than that.

I have the unbranded version. I keep it set to 250 for the start speed, and then 500-700 for the upper limit. It took me a week or so to figure out that I could change the start speed.... Probably should have spent more time with the instruction sheet.....

I don’t even know if I can change the start speed. I think when going as slow as I can it displays 200 but I’m not positive on that. I usually don’t watch the display when seeing. Lol.

Oh, you're right. I thought the controller for the Consew 3000 unit had the same 4 buttons as the unbranded one. It apparently does not.

My controller has parameters that can be set and saved for start speed, max speed, max system speed, speed lock, needle stop position, motor reverse, and some fine tuned needle position adjustments for different types of positioners. Max speed can be adjusted on the fly, independent of the max speed parameter, which serves as the default max speed at powerup.

I might just order one as well since it’s free returns. I contacted two different sellers. One said yes the other just repeated what was in the description.

Dropshipping from sellers in China. I doubt they've ever seen the products in person.

Probably not. I’m just going to order one and take my chances. I can’t wait for yours to arrive. Lol.

Already has a servo motor installed, and appears to include a binder, slide cover tapped for attachments, and binding foot.

My wife has never sewed but told me she wants to get a sewing machine for a couple of small projects. She was looking at new $50 machines on Amazon but, I convinced her to let me find an older/more robust machine. So what can you guys tell me about this machine? Would it so a few pieces of webbing together if I ever got the urge?

Or this one

Anyone know anything about this Singer? Pretty sure it is an industrial machine. Seller can’t find the serial or model number, therefore I don’t know a thing about it or what it’s capabilities are? If anyone has any insight I would appreciate a quick response so if it’s any good I can grab it before it’s gone.
