Appears to be. I tuned one up for a guy a few months back. They're really nice machines.

I’ve heard they’re nice. I always wanted a 206 when I first started looking. What are your thoughts on top loading vs bottom/side loading bobbins?

Bobbin size being equal, I can't say I have a preference. Speaking generally, I really like side loading bobbins because I can easily set string tension outside of the machine, have bobbin cases set for a certain thread size, and I find setting timing a bit easier. However, I love having extra dedicated slide covers on a top load machine for mounting folders and binders.
Where are you guys finding these things for $25?Just picked up another 15-91 for $25. Will need to rewire it as it still had the original cords, but it runs when I plugged it in. Plan on keeping for parts in case my primary ever needs anything.
Oh No. You are on your way to an advanced stage of sewing machineism. It always starts with 2.Just picked up another 15-91 for $25. Will need to rewire it as it still had the original cords, but it runs when I plugged it in. Plan on keeping for parts in case my primary ever needs anything.
