Have any of you guys tried sewing 3 layers of the seat belt webbing? does your machines work ok on them? trying to figure out what machine in a budget range would work on the 3 layers. My wifes will do 2, not 3. thanks
My Bernina will probably struggle with 3 layers and I will probably have to help it by hand. But it still should do it. I have gone through 4 layers webbbing and the only issue I ran into was back stitching. I think if I put the walking fooot on the machine it may help to keep the top and bottom layers together.

thanks for the input. my wife had an older singer that had been my grandmothers, and I replaced it with a brother a couple years back. should have kept the old one and just got a new foot peddle. I think that one may have worked. oh well
