All of those upgrades are easy with the SitDrag. Except the fork...I'm not sure about that one.
Maybe a profound erection?

Wouldn't work for me...then my feet couldn't even reach the tree.

id have the opposite problem the "fork" would be too short!

I'll tell you one thing: if I could use my chubby to do that, I'd probably have a lot less time to hunt deer. Maybe another version of whitetail

Not a bad idea. But on the cold days, I won't get the same clearance.

Funny stuff! Back on topic though.
Is there a fork mod option for a Sit Drag or other minimalist saddle? I haven't purchased a saddle yet but was leaning toward GW to have the fork to keep my feet/legs from getting tired. I like the minimalist saddle idea, but would like to have a fork for the reasons mentioned. Thanks.

Nothing Im aware of. I do knees to the tree or turn side ways and put my thigh against the tree.

I have something I have been playing with that isn't perfected yet I'll try and take some pictures tonight. It helps with hip pouch too.

Guys make set ups like this.... only using plywood for the seat and cut it out such that there is a "fork" to keep you off the tree. Not going to be as light as a stock Sit Drag with some rope and 'biners. But also not going to be as heavy as the web...

You may also want to look for a Treesuit. It is a hard seat that keeps you off the tree but not nearly as big as the web, no overkill on adjustments or seat back, etc...

I've used the plywood seat and it was one of the best setups for climbing sticks or screw in steps. Not to mention since the weather changes here in Missouri so much between sun up and sun down it was also much easier to add and remove layers. to keep warm. I used accessory chord on mine instead of the straps though. Talk about comfortable, add an extra strap under your arms and it was like a barcalounger in the sky. All day sits were not problem. Just lay back and take a light nap around noon. I might still be using it if I wasn't using a saddle for rope climbing. I have had thoughts of getting rid of the leg loops in my harness and replacing them with a bosun's seat. This is a vid of my seat and my setup from last year it's a little long and not put together well. But I hope it helps you.

Thank you for the video! I'm in Missouri also, southwest now, I grew up in central MO near Lake of the Ozarks and hunt there as well. How does the plywood seat attach to the harness or you?
