Oh my.....

A few fellas have tried it, various sizes, with no complaints. I think width of hips and level of calypigian are more critical than height. For me, having the rings 2-4 inches in front of my hips is best.

Ha! Ya, its definitely an improvement over my wraptor, which is basically the same thing without the mesh.Haha, googled it and my wife has a new reason to hate me because I talk about her calypigian aspect all the time.
Question. Did you feel any major benefit into having the mesh VS just a bare sling? Was the mesh material stretchy or more firm? Was the purpose of the mesh and the padding to firm up the saddle to fight against hip pinch due to your prefered support system due to your calypigian? From what I understand this was the basis of improvement from Mantis to Phantom, that it is firmer so it cup your butt better. My calypigian profile is small so I was wondering would I get any benefit from adding a mesh, and would a firm or flexible mesh make more sense. Thank you!

After this season, the 2 panel is by far my favorite. Comfortable and adjustable and wears well while walking.@always89y So where does this saddle 'rank' amongst your saddles? You still prefer the pleated and the unpleated saddles to this?
Just trying to decide what my next DIY saddle design will be...
