OK guys - I have tried to line up a big name to come do the scouting but seems like no -one wants to come south. Would any of you be interested in a scouting weekend led by me in Central/South Central OK? I am by no means an expert, but I could demonstrate all my gear, kayak hunting, traditional archery, and how I go about a year round scouting program. Then we could head to a couple WMAs and do some real time scouting and discuss how and where I would set up. I know a Dan Infalt, John E or other big name would be ideal but I just can't seem to make it happen. I reached out to some other hunters I really respect but doesn't appear it will happen.
 
Dave, what part of Texas. I hunt mostly around the davy crockett national forest near Crockett, Texas (east TX) . Also been down south to premont to hunt a few times.

To make this happen obviously there would need to be some cover charge and enough folks interested. Trying to get an accurate estimate of how many might be interested. we have talked about it long enough. The east guys make it happen every year but many of us our not going to drive that far - and to be truthful, our terrain is not always the same.

Hey Dave! I’ve been watching you 2018 scouting videos. They are super helpful as a new hunter. I would like to do your scouting seminar but SE Oklahoma is a little far for me.

Sorry just saw this. we are starting a 2020 Scouting Video series. If you like, post up your questions and comments there and I will try to answer them. I doubt i will try to set up a scouting workshop. I have been asked to participate in some roadshow events so if those pan out I will post the details and perhaps you can make some of them. I may also attend some of the Tethrd training events.
