Does anyone know if guys have been able to splice these ropes. I'm trying to get the specs, diameter and strands etc but can't find anything.

But why? Even if they were spliceable, which I doubt, this rope is not worth the hassle. These ropes are not durable as a tether. Mine didn’t last a season when I used one.

predator is a nice rope and spliceable I think.

Thanks. I bought these already and sort of stuck with them. I haven't used them as yet but time to return past. I was figuring to splice them to save space and tether the lineman rope to my saddle loop without using a carabiner to avoid clanking noise. Also I would like to use the C-IV or Oplux, however I'm hesitant using a Madrock Safeguard on the 8mm Oplux. The C-IV rope is 9mm however and fits the Madrock Safeguard requirements.

Madrock Safeguard Requirements:
For rescue / rigging use: 8.1mm to 11mm rope diameter
For climbing use: 8.9mm to 11mm rope diameter
