Arrows…… @HuumanCreed will have them ready after his next lunchbreak..

Just because I’m a friend, the Spikes press and draw board is only about $2100. It’s really a good deal if you think about it…

Hmm...last I had looked, SpikePress's website wasn't listing them for sale. Looks like they are up and running again.

But $2100...yikes.

Now I'm feeling good about the $1300 Specialty Archery Pro Press I've been eyeing. lol.

I think the total vise bow press you posted is a great all inclusive deal, but they went away from the spring fingers which I thought was a big highlight of their system.

I'm impressed by what I see in the SniperArchery of Spain (https://www.sniperarchery.com/en/shop) bow press system. It really looks great, but I think it was a few hundred bucks just to ship to USA and what if there's an issue?

I could make do with LCA presses but probably want one that is a little more versatile than the EZ Green...but I still looked at the deal with a lot of interest. Then I saw...

Cold feet @thedutchtouch? Put these on and get all those bow components on order now, before season is too close, lol.

Just ordered some BE Rampages yesterday. Ethics is having a July 4th sale so I’ll be getting some components this weekend too

If you’ve never ordered arrows from south shore archery before I’d highly recommend giving Jerry a call

Enjoy the process man!

You'll never regret having your own bow press. I bought an EZ a few years ago as a local shop was closing down. It's awesome working on your own stuff and not having to take it to a shop. It is really nice to be able to buy a used bow at a steal and set it up yourself :grinning:
The draw board I set up is exactly like you described, a winch and iron pipe/flange works great.

Alrighty I just got home and attached the vice to some "temporary" (that may become long term) 2x6 scraps for a base and put the bow in the vise for the first time. Looks like this will work nicely. Too tired after a fun but not very restful weekend to do much tonight, so I'm not going to even take the tags off or try to serve anything in yet but I cranked it down to take tension off the string once before taking it out and finally took a photo. Please ignore various kid stuff on table/floor behind lol.

This fits right on the EZ Green press?
Yes.
I too just got an Omnia and a press and draw board because I didn't want to drive 40 mins and pay to adjust every little thing!
It was worth it! The shop i got mine from was the smallest bow shop in the twin ports but didn't have a range. They said they got it set up, but I found it wasn't timed right and needed several other adjustments. Now I can also fix and change stuff on my old bow.

I’m not sure if that’s the exact one but there are a ton of those wheels. I think the LCA is a 7” wheel.

After one night of use I can understand why the entire internet seems to like these hand wheels. The crank works fine but it's a lot of cranking (mainly to get the press open to the right spot/put the bow in). Once it's in there, it's somewhat nice for a newbie like me to be able to press it super slowly, though I suppose a wheel is easy to go slow as well. Arrows first, wheel later for me

If you buy a hand wheel, let us know what one you got. But, you can connect a drill too. Good luck and let me know what you think of the Canyon Pounder too.

Best thing I did was build my own "archery shop" I really like my Omnia too

Looks like you weren't scurred of the past parallel and didn't spend (pointless?) money like I did on the limb lock fingers/kit. Oh well the limb lock setup seem to work well, though the foam rollers want to occupy the same space as the limb dampeners so I have to slide them out of the way when pressing the bow.

Yes, the regular fingers are plenty. And if you're worried, just have carpet or a mat on the floor so if it does drop it'll hit a softer surface. ;)
