Arrows…… @HuumanCreed will have them ready after his next lunchbreak..so my ez-green showed up today... about 45 min before i left to go out of town for the weekend. hoping to have some time to set up the bow next week before i leave for alaska. will get photos of that/ of the assembled bow... so hopefully next week, if not... the week of the 17th. need to get some arrows as well.
Just because I’m a friend, the Spikes press and draw board is only about $2100. It’s really a good deal if you think about it…

Interesting. That I did not knowI thought Jerry left South Shore. He was making arrows somewhere else.
You'll never regret having your own bow press. I bought an EZ a few years ago as a local shop was closing down. It's awesome working on your own stuff and not having to take it to a shop. It is really nice to be able to buy a used bow at a steal and set it up yourselfso my ez-green showed up today... about 45 min before i left to go out of town for the weekend. hoping to have some time to set up the bow next week before i leave for alaska. will get photos of that/ of the assembled bow... so hopefully next week, if not... the week of the 17th. need to get some arrows as well.
This fits right on the EZ Green press?FYI, Amazon has hand wheels for about $20. Nice upgrade to the press.

Yes.This fits right on the EZ Green press?
After one night of use I can understand why the entire internet seems to like these hand wheels. The crank works fine but it's a lot of cranking (mainly to get the press open to the right spot/put the bow in). Once it's in there, it's somewhat nice for a newbie like me to be able to press it super slowly, though I suppose a wheel is easy to go slow as well. Arrows first, wheel later for meI’m not sure if that’s the exact one but there are a ton of those wheels. I think the LCA is a 7” wheel.
Best thing I did was build my own "archery shop" I really like my Omnia tooYes.
I too just got an Omnia and a press and draw board because I didn't want to drive 40 mins and pay to adjust every little thing!
It was worth it! The shop i got mine from was the smallest bow shop in the twin ports but didn't have a range. They said they got it set up, but I found it wasn't timed right and needed several other adjustments. Now I can also fix and change stuff on my old bow.
Looks like you weren't scurred of the past parallel and didn't spend (pointless?) money like I did on the limb lock fingers/kit. Oh well the limb lock setup seem to work well, though the foam rollers want to occupy the same space as the limb dampeners so I have to slide them out of the way when pressing the bow.Best thing I did was build my own "archery shop" I really like my Omnia too
Yes, the regular fingers are plenty. And if you're worried, just have carpet or a mat on the floor so if it does drop it'll hit a softer surface.Looks like you weren't scurred of the past parallel and didn't spend (pointless?) money like I did on the limb lock fingers/kit.
