Suggestions for Ebike groups

You probably could do it . Check the cost against buying a fat tire e-bike and building one and see if it's worth doing. There are a lot of e-bike companies out there and you don't have to break the bank to buy a good one. Do your research.

What wheelset do you have on it? With it being a hybrid, the wheelset may taco out on you with all of the additional weight and rough conditions you would be putting it in.
 
I did have a question, With all the bikes people are using, QK, Rambo, Rad bikes etc. and all the accessories on the bike racks, fenders and actual hunting gear. What is the noise level going through the woods? Is there a lot of noise when you are going over rough terrain? I don't do much biking so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question. Thanks

I was wondering the same thing. The free wheels on most bikes are very loud
 
The freewheel on a Rad are very quiet and the only thing you heard is the hub motor and deer don't seem to mind it.

Shimano makes the nexave silent clutch but I believe it is cassette only so your hub motor would have to be cassette compatible. I have a rear hub with this on it waiting to get installed on one of my bike builds. It is absolutely silent compared to a normal freewheel/cassette.

My bike is a custom bike, a Trek bike with BAFANG mid drive motor on it. The only thing you can hear is the tire on the path. I have a trailer that I put on it and that is noisy when I do not have any weight on it but when I put a deer or carry gear in it, it is silent. I normally don’t put the trailer on unless I shoot something. I normally leave the trailer off the side of the trail near the truck.

e-bikes are extremely quiet. I zip right past deer and they barely look up. I stopped once and got a shot at one with a bow when I rode by one.

Wheelset meaning what rims are you running. I would just look them up to see if you could find anything about how they do in off road conditions before taking it down a rough trail. Mountain bike wheel sets are designed to handle the abuse of off road riding whereas a hybrid wheelset would be meant to live on paved paths.

Oh ok. Thank you for that info. Bike stuff is foreign to me. Wore them out when i was a kid but that was just the regular old yard bike.
