Was looking back through pictures I had taken over the past year and came across an idea I had that subsequently got overcome by... life. You know, the kind of thing that you put down and forget about after you're involved with something else? Anyway, thought I'd share it. Maybe it will spur conversation or a bit of DIY.

Remember, this is the time-frame when I was still waiting on my Pacseat to arrive. I was bent on creating a chair that doubled as a pack frame for hauling deer meat out.

Neat.

Something like that made to double as a climbing platform would be interesting.

Thanks guys. Here is a follow-on version that swivels (sorry I didn't ever take a video of it). Developed the swivel version because once you got into the original, there was no way to quickly disconnect and get out of it if you needed to turn for a shot at a different angle (behind you or something). You were basically stuck facing the direction you set up in.

Been kicking around this type idea for about a yr. I was going a little different direction ultra lite weight ground chair vs chair-pack. Getting to ultra lite & compact has been challenging. First proto that sparked the idea. 832D1E1B-5B9D-42CC-8FCD-06EDFE4681F8.png

Good to see u finally figured out a way to alleviate the painfully hip pinch u were telling me about caused by that saddle u got....I'd be nervous to use that mainly because of the sheer number of danger stickers

Idea works if you have a fallen tree with right height limbs. I sat in one during gun season. Worked okay. Screwed up and spooked a buck and some does later. I was moving way to much.
