Not sure where to put this (mod can move if needed)

So bit of a dilemma, have some euro mounts and 1 shoulder mount at my parents and they’re moving. Not worried about finding a place for the euro, but the shoulder mount apparently “doesn’t have anywhere to go” on our walls lol.

Any storage tips to keep it quality? Isn’t my biggest buck, but it’s my first. In a vacuum seal bag, placed in a air controlled attic do the trick?

All I can tell you is that taxidermy can go to hell quickly if it's not climate controlled. I don't know what an air controlled attic is, but if it isn't 72 degrees and dehumidified I wouldn't put one of my ducks or shoulder mounts up there.

Although, a friend had an elk mounted under his carport. It looked....okayish. Funny story. The dude and his brother went on a western hunt. Both of them had mule deer tags and the brother had an elk tag. Day 1, brother shoots a mule deer early in the morning. An hour later, sees a giant one. Shoots it too and tells my friend he needs his tag, just couldn't pass it up. Friend says "Fine, but that's my elk tag now." Shot the first dink bull he saw and mounted it by his deep freeze under the carport.

Brotherly love.

Yes I would put your woman in a vacuum sealed bag in the attic, and you will have plenty of room on the walls now. LOL
As stated in the previous post vacuum sealing would mess up the mount and so would a hot attic. Any friends, brothers or do you possibly have an office where you could put it in the wall? Besides that’s not sure what your other options are.

I feel your pain about the "lack of space" for shoulder mounts. My first and biggest deer still hangs over the fireplace at my parents house. My wife has an aversion to having a shoulder mount on the house, says the eyes following her freak here out. All my skull mounts hang in the basement stairwell, is there room for a shoulder mount there at your house?

Hey my brother has a bear rug mount hanging on the wall above his bed, he didn’t even kill it and his wife doesn’t like it, but it’s what he wants…that’s the blessing of paying all the bills in your own house.
I believe in being good to your wife and giving her things she wants, but I can assure you my wife does not wear the pants in the house. Go ahead all you feminine pansies call me a male chauvinist pig, but my wife don’t run my house and I pay all my bills without sending my wife out to the work field so I can be a stay at home Dad. I’m not saying this is the case with the OP, but just thought I would speak my mind LOL.

What if what she wants is to not have a bear rug hanging over her bed?

I didn’t say everything she wants LOL, if you got everything you wanted what type of person would you be?Or what type of woman would she be? I believe it has to be a balance, but not weak men being led by their wives by the bull ring in their nose.
Unfortunately today most “men” are scared to death of their wives and give them everything they want.
