The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds. Starting in 2020 only SH Members will be admitted to the annual hunting contest. Current members will need to follow these steps to upgrade: 1. Click on your username 2. Click on Account upgrades 3. Choose SH Member and purchase.

Yes my friend, in any competition I am interested in leading the race, lol! I don’t care if we are in a rock kicking contest, I want to kick mine further than the rest hahaha, even when there’s nothing to gain but bragging rights! I thoroughly enjoy this competition every year just for a friendly competition and to get to talk with new people!

I was wearing my saddle for a kill on Sat but it was not tethered to anything...Killed a decent Sika stag in Blackwater NWR. We were hiking out and shot it off a bike's handlebars. Had one come by in the tree too but he didnt stop long enough for me at 10 yds to get my scope lined up confidently.

Anybody still hunting? I'm waiting for our 3 day primitive season Feb1-3. I don't have any bow tags left but, that season gives me one more doe tag. Won't be able to upgrade any points as I can't shoot a buck so I am going to go try to take a doe from the ground. My luck this guy will walk by. (pic is from Wednesday evening)
My season is officially over. Regular bow needed 1/31 but we have a 3 day primitive season that ended today. I believe this was the only sit I didn’t have a deer in range all year.

Yeah, a more accurate statement would have been “part of me” wishes we had them. I acknowledge they are probably a net negative but, man would they be fun to hunt with my recurve.

Well fellas I was able to sneak away from the NICU long enough to get two afternoons hunts in before the season closed this past weekend. I saw a good number of deer however only had one close opportunity that i boogered up by getting skylined while putting on my rain jacket.
I’ve enjoyed hearing yalls stories and sharing in the success! Y’all killed some absolutes studs, congrats again! It’s always fun to be on a team that’s enjoys healthy competition. I wish I could have gotten out to hunt more but I’m glad I didn’t leave y’all with a complete goose egg.
