Team 12 Thread

Season ends on the 23rd.

Quartering away - pretty big doe. Blood picture was at impact. Broadhead buried in off side shoulder. She still ran about 125 yards.

7 does came through like train cars @25. #8 tried sneaking by at 15 yards.

I don't why but I haven't been receiving updates from this thread. Glad some of yall are still at it and congrats @SEPA@73 on the doe. @denots bag you a nice one or two and get us some points! @Jwiggins762 they should be starting to rut in your part of the state, don't give up just yet! Go out there and kill you a good un. I'll be out there a few more times myself. Hoping for an upgrade buck but am considering shooting another doe for sausage.
 
Coming down to the wire. Anybody else gonna kill and get us back into second place?
 
My season ended in a blind with my daughter on Saturday pm. Got skunked.
On Friday afternoon, we pushed a property. I threw up my sticks, platform and whacked 2 more ladies with the Prime in the saddle. It was awesome. No exaggeration but 20 deer came through the funnel. It was the first time these guys ever saw a saddle. Deer drives are more effective from a tree.

I'm probably finished until February. As long as there's a bucks only firearm season going on you have to follow that with archery equipment. There's not a lot to choose from on my lease mostly doe and that's what I want to shoot anyway. No sense in putting pressure if I can't shoot what I want. Hopefully before February 15th I can at least get as a doe. I wouldn't get your hopes up about a buck on this property. Maybe a spike. You never know lightning could strike.
 
No worries, it looks like the contest ends in a week anyway. I was just hoping we could maybe have a hail marry and take 2nd. 3rd ain’t bad either! I’ve had a blast this year and it’s been a joy to share it with all of you!
 
I will try for an upgrade buck this weekend, almost decided to go fishing instead. The weather hasn't been great but only got two weekends left.
 
Congratulations fellas on a fun competition. It has been a joy to share some of my hunts with yall and read the hunts you all have shared. 3rd place aint all that bad!
