Team 12 Thread

Well swing and a miss tonight, didn't see a thing. The wind is no good tomorrow for that area so I'll be relocating to a private parcel about an hour and a half drive from me. I'm not a morning person so it's gonna be a rough morning :laughing:
 
Windy here in eastern PA. First time in this spot. Private that isnt easy to access. Set up on rub line.

Had my first rutting activity. Old busted up bruiser chasing 2 does. Got me fired up.

Just had 5 does right on top of me. Buck in distance but couldn't get binos on him. Finally scented me before the buck got within 100 yards. He was a rack but not sure if he was a shooter.

The hunting has been tough for me! Nearly arrowed a doe the other day but she never presented a good shot. Other than that I have only had a couple of spikes and a fawn in bow range come broadside. Sticking it out though with the saddle and bow......on the bright side I have gotten really good at setting up with my sticks, platform and saddle!
Perseverance is the name of the game!
 
I bailed from work a little early and am hanging in a tree. Hunting a piece of public that I’ve typically had good luck at, but haven’t been into at all so far this year.

Somehow it’s 73 on November 3rd, and I need my thermacell. Change of pace from the snow 2 weeks ago!

Weather forecast is horrible!! Plus 10 degrees over 24 hours ago. Deer sightings have went up just not the big ones yet

Also agreed on the weather! I'm a little annoyed to be burning a week's worth of vacation on it.

Deer were active yesterday in PA too. Slower this morning. About to get down. Just need to decide on afternoon location.
