Team 12 Thread

I'm also heading out tomorrow for the MI early firearm doe season. Got some volunteer work planned in the morning but will be headed for the woods after lunch. Still torn if I will take the gun or bow, probably bow tomorrow and gun on Sunday.

Hooray! Another Michigan boy!

Might get out Sunday for early doe but honestly may have to skip it this year. We'll see.
 
It doesn't help the team score but got my first saddle kill last Friday.

Early doe season started today. Hopefully getting out tonight. Just got my Platow pack in, so far I like everything about it.

I’ll be rotating it in for the 1st time this season.
I need to pick up an arrow keeper dropped an arrow when I was checking shooting lanes on my first hunt with it

Well there were a few deer moving around tonight after all. Shot a doe at 33yds, quartering to, went in through the jugular, got both lungs and through the opposite shoulder. She went about 50yds and piled up.

So what's the strategy here, should I wait and see if I can get two bucks later in the season before posting the pic?

From what I read you can replace the doe with a buck if you shoot it. I think it’s a running tally.
