Had this little guy sniffing my climbing sticks on two separate days last weekend. I know I said spike season was open this year but it's my last bow tag so he got a pass.

I did a little scouting after passing him on Sunday morning and found an area tore up with several scrapes with a waist high rub. Looking forward to hunting it this weekend.

FINALLY will be able to get out again tomorrow morning. Low temps moving in so things should be picking up. This is the least I've hunted in 10 years but I guess that's what a 2 year old little boy will do haha. Might try and get out Friday morning as well. Evenings this year have been tough for me. Hopefully can stick something tomorrow morning.

In the tree. Saw probably 20 deer and 2 hogs driving up here. 3 were nice bucks. Right at the parking lot at the boat ramp maybe 200 yards from where I'm at there was a good size hog and and a doe.

I also saw something kinda funny. Got on a long bridge and there was a coyote on it. He took off running when I got closer but couldn't outrun a 70mph murder wagon. Once he knew he was trapped he turned, crouched, and snarled.

Cold front has critters stirring for sure. I have a good feeling about putting a deer on the board this weekend.

Had a nice size doe 'jump the string' this morning. Well, I'm pretty sure she jumped the string. Either that or I dropped my bow arm - but the shot felt good.

Like a dummy I had my camera all set up and never thought to record any of it.

Landowner decided it would be a good day to to some chainsaw work. Had the deer skittish. Seen a couple basket racks but the two older bucks i was targeting never showed up to the dance.

Sneaking out of work early today to hunt an area I found last weekend tore up with several scrapes. Had heavy rain all weekend and today is 40 degrees and clear. Looking forward to being in the tree.
Yeah MD and PA should have some nice days coming up. Looks like frost here in PA Wednesday morning. I am headed out around noon to scout a spot for tomorrow mornings 1/2 day sit
