Team 3 - Official Team Thread

Sat Friday morning behind my house. 3 does and a small 4pt chasing. Same one from the previous week. Gearing up to head to MO for 6 days of whitetail hunt. Should be a fun hunt!

5 pt buck taken on last day of out-of-state hunt. Not the wall hanger I wanted but the freezer filler I needed.

I got a doe from a box blind. :( Now my freezer is almost full. Still going to attempt to upgrade my buck, guess I could donate to Hunters for the Hungry.
 
I haven’t seen anything with antlers in almost two weeks. Going to wait until muzzleloading season starts here in Michigan then hit some public. Otherwise I’ve got two saddle doe in the freezer.

Our rut here want start for another 2 weeks or longer and goes through to first week of January
 
Ouch! Just realized that we were in last place. lol.

I'll probably only get to hunt the last weekend of our rifle season but, Ill be good for another doe in late season. Even if I have to shoot one of my "yard deer" in late muzzleloader. They typically get a pass but, when I need to cap off the freezer I've been known to hang in a tree just off my yard and shoot one of the does that feed under our apple trees all summer. ;)

Our new goal is to catch Team 6!
