The cool finally arrived in the north east. This morning was the first day that felt like hunting weather.
I’m eager as hell for my season to open and am trying to get as much done now as I can!
So from the main forum page there is a “Deer Hunting Contest” forum. Within that is a sub forum I guess you could call it for each year, for example, if you look at the top left you’ll see the 2021. Within each year subforum around september, the mods will post the rules and separately a contest entry thread. In that thread all you would do is reply “I’m in” and they place you on a team when the sign up ends. That’s what you’re seeing here. This is Team 5 thread. So the first post of this thread tags everyone who is on team 5 and so on and so forth. Once on a team you can post your deer to the submission thread for points for your team. All that and enjoying the comraderery and smack talk is all there is too it.
Sorry closed man, but you can be an honorary team 5 member & hang out here….. points won’t count but it will give you the vibe for next year plus you pick up a few things in a team thread. Guys bounce ideas off each other about setups , strategy & tactics that may not get discussed in the main forum.
