@hokiehunter373 what are your opinions of the Tacticam Reveal Cell Cam? I'm a cheap son of a gun and don't really want to get into adding to our existing cell phone plan but I'm thinking I have to get into this cell cam game a little more to capitalize on when deer are at least in an area. How many do you have, what is the pricing and do you recommend that brand or something else? I was at Wallyworld this evening with my kids and they have the new Moutry EXO cell cams for $62 and you just buy a plan from Moultry.... that's pretty reasonable pricing but I'm not sure what the actual plans would cost. Any other Team6 members with cell cams please chime in as well!!

If I had the money I’d get 100 of them but I only have experience with the original model. I have 3 of those and really wish I woulda bought more. I also have 2 spypoint micro links and one of spypoint little devices that turns a regular cam into a cell cam. I’ve had good luck with all of them but definitely prefer the reveals. The 3 I got where 90-100 each. Their newer models are more but I think the X is still $120. The cell plans vary in cost depending on how many pics you want went to you. From what I’ve read I WOULD NOT recommend those moultrie cell cams. The place I’m hunting today is an hour away. I barely have time to hunt it let alone get down here to check cams. They’re not something you need to have but for a mainly weekend warrior like myself they sure as heck help. I’d buy my current 3 again and pay more to do so. Today's the last day of my season. Hunted in Mass, which extended it a couple weeks. Shotgun season pushed a lot of deer, but I found lots of sign in bow only area (where I've still seen ML guys).
For me the deer are bedding on top of food, like 30yds. It's tough to get in without spooking them.
Going out to a new spot for the afternoon.

I really like my Reveals. I have so much better signal and picture than my other cameras.
Last day here as well. Hope everyone going out has a great hunt and fantastic 2022!

Well Friday’s hunt went about as well as I could have hoped. 15 mins after first light I had a deer working back to bedding towards me. Glassed him and it was a little buck. Started praying there was the big one behind him. Minute or so later and I see a bigger body taking the same path. Got super excited. Got him in my binos and it was just a slightly bigger 6 point. They both came by perfectly inside of 10 yards. Saw a doe and a fawn after that. Later I saw a big buck back in the bedding where I wanted to hunt tomorrow. Didn’t confirm it was the one I’m after but odds are it was. Got out of there doing no harm.

Today it’s 60. Tomorrow is supposed to be 30. Perfect N wind. All the sudden today they’re now calling for 6+ inches. I LOVE it. Nothing better than hunting in the snow. However, there’s a winter storm warning and the park is closed to hunting during weather advisories. So tonight I’m gonna cry myself to sleep and wait for a pic of the big boy in daylight tomorrow while I’m not there lol. Meanwhile I’m scrambling to figure out where I’m gonna hunt instead

Headed to the Fla panhandle to hunt the rut up there Thursday through Sunday. Got a good feeling about this trip! There's about 15-20 guys that are Patreon's of the Chasin Tales podcast that are meeting up on some public land.....a couple of them are on this site and more than a few are true killers so we should have a great time....Weather is gonna be perfect for rutting conditions!!! Fingers crossed!!!
 
Our late-late Archery-ML season ended yesterday. 0 for 5 on a 6 day late season try. I sat in different locations based on the wind on different properties and saw a lot of sign but no deer. We had a warm spell which melted any snow ground cover making the leaves super quiet for deer to walk around in and very difficult to see. It was still fun though just hanging in the saddle overlooking phenomenal sign or just being in the woods. I also utilized the time to scout a couple of public properties I have limited experience hunting and found some decent sign for hopeful dreams next season. Thanks to all Team 6 members and you all still hunting..... best of luck to you!

Last had him on the 5th and 6th I think it was. There was a coyote running around this morning while I was setting up. 1 deer blew. The timing of it made me think it was at me (so I sure hope it wasn't that buck) but there's a chance it was at the coyote. I'll never know if it was him or not. At this point I'm just hoping no one else shoots him and he can make it through to next season. I have 1, maybe 2 more sits left, if I'm lucky this year.

I have (1) reveal X and it is my first year using it. Absolutely love it. Went through two sets of batteries the first 3 months because I couldn't figure out the best settings for performance/battery life, but once I figured that out it ran the rest of the year and is still running with no problems. Absolutely love it and will be buying more!
 
Congrats to everyone who harvested deer this year. Does anyone know where we finished in points?

So, I'm not trying to be nosey just trying to get a true understanding of all associated costs. If I went with a Reveal X, besides the cost of the camera, what do the plans cost? Do they provide volume discounts if you buy two cameras or is each camera a separate plan cost?
